Ajita Wilson

Ajita Wilson (1950–1987, United States/Italy) Ajita Wilson was an American actress and model who gained prominence in Italian cinema during the 1970s and 1980s. She starred in numerous B-movies, particularly in the erotic, horror, and exploitation genres, including films like *Gola profonda nera* (1976) and *La principessa e il pirata* (1982). As one of the few transgender performers to achieve mainstream recognition in European film at the time, her career highlighted themes of gender and sexuality in low-budget Italian productions.
