Alf Kjellin

Alf Kjellin (1920–1988, Sweden/United States) was a Swedish actor and film director who began his career in Scandinavian cinema during the 1940s, appearing in notable films such as *Iris and the Lieutenant* (1946) and *The Long Night* (1947). After emigrating to the United States in the 1950s, he transitioned to directing, helming episodes of popular television series like *The Man from U.N.C.L.E.* and *Star Trek*, as well as feature films including *Key Witness* (1960) and *The Lost World* (1965). Kjellin is remembered for bridging European and American film styles, contributing to both acting and behind-the-camera work in mid-20th-century entertainment.
