Annabella

Annabella (1907–1992, France/United States) was a French actress who rose to prominence in European cinema during the 1930s with roles in films such as Le Million (1931) and La Belle Marinière (1935). She transitioned to Hollywood in the late 1930s, appearing in notable productions like Suez (1938) opposite Tyrone Power, whom she married, and continued her career in films including Wing and a Prayer (1944). Annabella’s work bridged French and American cinema, showcasing her versatility in romantic and dramatic roles until her retirement in the 1950s.
