Anthony Steffen

Anthony Steffen (1936–2022, Brazil) was a Brazilian-Italian actor best known for his leading roles in spaghetti Western films during the 1960s and 1970s. He starred in over 30 Euro-Westerns, including titles like “Django the Condemned” (1967), “Cowards Don’t Pray” (1968), and “God Forgives… I Don’t!” (1967), often portraying heroic gunslingers in the vein of Clint Eastwood’s Man with No Name. Steffen’s career spanned more than 50 films across genres, from adventure to horror, establishing him as a key figure in Italian B-movies before his retirement in the 1980s.
