Barbara Valentin
Barbara Valentin (1940–2002, Austria/Germany) was an Austrian-born actress who rose to fame in the 1960s as a sex symbol in German cinema, often compared to Brigitte Bardot for her roles in musicals and comedies. She appeared in over 50 films, including notable works like *Das Liebeskarussell* (1961) and *Der schöne Traum* (1963), before transitioning to more dramatic roles in the 1970s. Later in her career, she collaborated with director Rainer Werner Fassbinder in films such as *Fox and His Friends* (1975) and *Despair* (1978), contributing to the New German Cinema movement.
