Bata Zivojinovic

Velimir “Bata” Živojinović (1933–2016, Serbia) was a Serbian and Yugoslav actor who became one of the most popular and prolific film stars in the history of Yugoslav cinema. He appeared in hundreds of films and television productions, often in war epics and partisan films such as *Battle of Neretva* (1969) and *Walter Defends Sarajevo* (1972), and was also active in politics later in life.
