Bombolo

Bombolo (1931–1996, Italy) was an Italian character actor renowned for his comedic supporting roles in spaghetti westerns and commedia all’italiana films during the 1970s and 1980s. Often cast as a bumbling, portly sidekick, he appeared in notable works by directors such as Sergio Corbucci, including “Who Finds a Friend Finds a Treasure” (1981) and “The Sheriff and the Satellite Kid” (1979). His distinctive humor and physical comedy contributed to the popularity of Italian genre cinema of the era.
