Bruce Bennet

Bruce Bennett (1906–2007, United States) Bruce Bennett was an American actor and athlete who transitioned from competitive sports to a prolific film career spanning over four decades. A silver medalist in shot put at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics, he began acting in the early 1930s under the name Herman Brix, appearing in serials and Westerns before adopting the stage name Bruce Bennett and gaining prominence in films like Sahara (1943) and The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948). He continued working in television and feature films into the 1960s, known for his rugged supporting roles in adventure and drama genres.
