Can Togay

Can Togay (1955–Present, Hungary) is a Hungarian-born actor, writer, and director of Turkish descent. He is internationally recognized as the conceptual designer of the “Shoes on the Danube Bank” memorial in Budapest, which he created with sculptor Gyula Pauer. As an actor, he is known for his role in the German film “Sun Alley” (Sonnenallee, 1999).
