Carmen Sevilla

Carmen Sevilla (1930–present, Spain) is a Spanish actress, singer, and dancer renowned for her contributions to mid-20th-century Spanish cinema. She began her career in the 1940s as a flamenco dancer and gained prominence in the 1950s and 1960s through leading roles in over 100 films, including musicals like *El balcón de la Luna* (1962) and dramas such as *La fiel infantería* (1959), often embodying the era’s glamorous female archetypes. Later, she expanded into television hosting and music, releasing albums and performing into the 2000s, cementing her status as a cultural icon in Spain.
