Claudio Gora

Claudio Gora (1913–1998, Italy) was an Italian actor and film director. He appeared in over 130 films from the 1930s through the 1980s, often in character roles, and contributed to the Italian neorealist movement with performances in films like Roberto Rossellini’s *Open City* (1945). Gora also directed several features, including *The Sky Is Red* (1950), and was a key figure in postwar Italian cinema.
