Dale Van Sickel

Dale Van Sickel (1903–1977, United States) Dale Van Sickel was an American actor and stuntman who appeared in over 200 films and television shows, primarily in uncredited roles as stunt doubles and extras during the Golden Age of Hollywood. He began his career in the 1920s as a football player and transitioned to acting and stunts in the 1930s, working extensively in Westerns, serials, and action films for studios like Republic Pictures and Universal. Van Sickel was a founding member of the Screen Actors Guild and performed dangerous stunts, including car crashes and fight scenes, for stars such as John Wayne and Errol Flynn.
