Daniel Cauchy

Daniel Cauchy (1930–2008, France) Daniel Cauchy was a French actor who appeared in over 60 films and television productions from the 1950s to the 1990s, often in supporting roles in crime and comedy genres. He gained recognition for his performances in films directed by Georges Lautner, including *The Counterfeiters of Paris* (1961) and *Le Tueur* (1972), as well as Jean Girault’s *The Gendarme and the Gendarmettes* (1982). His career highlighted the vibrant ensemble acting tradition in post-war French cinema.
