Denis Quaid

Denis Quaid (1954–Present, United States) is an American actor known for his versatile roles in film and television since the late 1970s. He gained prominence with breakthrough performances in Breaking Away (1979) and The Right Stuff (1983), earning a Golden Globe nomination for the latter, and has since starred in diverse projects including The Parent Trap (1998), Frequency (2000), and Far from Heaven (2002). Quaid’s career also includes Emmy-nominated work in television, such as in Special Bulletin (1983), and he is the older brother of actor Randy Quaid.
