Edith Piaf

Edith Piaf (1915–1963, France) Edith Piaf was a French singer, songwriter, and actress, widely regarded as one of France’s greatest and most beloved performers. Though primarily known for her music, including iconic songs such as “La Vie en rose” and “Non, je ne regrette rien,” she also appeared in several films, including *Étoile sans lumière* (1946) and *French Cancan* (1955). Her life and career were dramatized in the acclaimed 2007 biographical film *La Vie en rose*.
