Frankie Darro

Frankie Darro (1918–1976, United States) was an American film actor who rose to prominence as a child performer in silent films during the 1920s, appearing in over 50 movies by age 10. He gained further recognition in the 1930s and 1940s for roles in series like the Bowery Boys and East Side Kids, often playing the mischievous kid Mantan. Darro transitioned to supporting roles, voice acting (including the voice of Lampwick in Disney’s Pinocchio), and stunt work before retiring in the 1950s.
