Ginette Leclerc

Ginette Leclerc (1910–1992, France) was a French actress celebrated for her roles in theater and cinema during the mid-20th century. She rose to prominence in the 1930s with stage work and film appearances, notably starring as Marie in Marcel Carné’s “Les Enfants du Paradis” (1945) and as Marie Corbin in Henri-Georges Clouzot’s “Le Corbeau” (1943). Her career, spanning over 50 years, included more than 90 films and earned her acclaim for portraying resilient, everyday women in French post-war cinema.
