Heintje Simons

Heintje Simons (1955–Present, Netherlands) is a Dutch singer and actor who rose to international fame as a child star in the late 1960s with his sentimental Schlager hit “Heidschi Bumbeidschi.” He starred in several German films, including “Heintje – Einmal Hochzeit, immer Hochzeit” (1970) and “Heintje, ein Herz geht Wanderlust” (1970), which capitalized on his youthful image and musical success. Though his popularity waned in adulthood, Simons remains a nostalgic figure in European pop culture history.
