Helen Morse

Helen Morse (1941–Present, England) is an English-born Australian actress known for her prominent roles in Australian films during the 1970s revival. She gained international recognition for portraying Miss McCraw in Peter Weir’s Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975) and starred as the lead in the biographical drama Caddie (1976), for which she won the Australian Film Institute Award for Best Actress. Morse has also appeared in television series and stage productions, contributing significantly to Australian performing arts.
