Isa Miranda
Isa Miranda (1905–1982, Italy) was an Italian actress whose career spanned Italian, French, and Hollywood cinema. She gained international recognition with Max Ophüls’ *La signora di tutti* (1934) and later won the Best Actress award at the 1949 Cannes Film Festival for *Au-delà des grilles* (*The Walls of Malapaga*).
