Ivan Desny

Ivan Desny (1922–2002, China/France) was a French actor of Russian descent who began his career in the 1950s. He appeared in over 150 films and television productions, often portraying elegant, aristocratic characters in French, German, and international cinema, including notable roles in *The Last Days of Pompeii* (1959) and *The Devil’s Agent* (1962). Desny’s versatile screen presence contributed to his longevity in European film until the late 1990s.
