Jan Hendriks
Jan Hendriks (1926–1998, Germany) was a German film and television actor known for his roles in post-war German cinema. He gained prominence for his performance as a young soldier in Bernhard Wicki’s 1959 anti-war film *Die Brücke* (The Bridge), which earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Language Film. Hendriks appeared in over 50 films and TV productions, often portraying earnest, working-class characters in dramas and historical pieces until the late 1990s.
