Jean Deschamps

Jean Deschamps (1920–2007, France) Jean Deschamps was a prolific French actor who appeared in over 100 films and television productions from the 1940s to the early 2000s. Known for his versatile supporting roles, he gained international recognition for his performance as the commissioner in the thriller “The Day of the Jackal” (1973). His career also included notable appearances in French classics such as “The Count of Monte Cristo” (1961) and “Isabelle Eberhardt” (1991), contributing to both mainstream cinema and stage theater.
