Jean Gaven
Jean Gaven (1925–2014, France) was a French film, television, and stage actor with a career spanning over five decades from the 1940s to the 1990s. He appeared in more than 100 productions, including notable roles in films like Henri-Georges Clouzot’s *The Wages of Fear* (1953) as the radio operator and Fred Zinnemann’s *The Day of the Jackal* (1973) as Colonel Rolland. Gaven was recognized for his supporting performances in French cinema and earned the title of Officier des Arts et des Lettres for his contributions to the arts.
