Jimmy Hanley

Jimmy Hanley (1918–1978, United Kingdom) Jimmy Hanley was a British actress who appeared in more than 50 films from the 1930s to the 1960s, often in supporting roles in comedies and dramas. She gained prominence for her performances in Ealing Studios productions such as *It Always Rains on Sunday* (1947) and *The Blue Lagoon* (1949), and later starred as Ada Larkins in the popular BBC sitcom *The Larkins* (1958–1960). Hanley was known for her warm, relatable screen presence that made her a staple of post-war British cinema and early television.
