Jimmy Wang Yu

Jimmy Wang Yu (1944–Present, China) is a Taiwanese-Hong Kong actor, director, and producer renowned for his pioneering role in the martial arts film genre. He gained international fame starring as the titular character in *The One-Armed Swordsman* (1967), which helped establish the wuxia style and influenced global cinema. Wang Yu also directed films like *The Chinese Boxer* (1970) and produced numerous action movies, contributing significantly to the golden age of Hong Kong cinema.
