Joanna Pettet (1942–Present, England) Joanna Pettet is an English actress who rose to prominence in the 1960s with her film debut in “The Group” (1966) and subsequent roles in major productions like “Casino Royale” (1967) and “The Thomas Crown Affair” (1968). She earned acclaim for her performances in films such as “The Night of the Generals” (1967) and “Blue” (1968), often portraying sophisticated or enigmatic characters. After a series of Hollywood features in the late 1960s and early 1970s, she shifted focus to television, appearing in shows like “Banacek” and “The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries,” before largely retiring from acting in the 1980s.
