Jorge Mistral

Jorge Mistral (1920–1978, Spain/Peru) was a Spanish actor who rose to prominence in the 1940s and 1950s, starring in over 100 films across Spain, Mexico, and international productions. Known for his charismatic presence and versatility in dramatic roles, he gained international recognition for portraying General Quintus in the Hollywood epic *King of Kings* (1961) directed by Nicholas Ray. Mistral’s career also included significant work in Spanish theater and television, contributing to the revival of post-Civil War Spanish cinema.
