Karin Baal

Karin Baal (1940–Present, Germany) is a German actress who began her career in the 1950s and became a prominent figure in post-war German cinema. She gained recognition for roles in films such as “Die Halbstarken” (1956) and “Der Teufel von Allendale” (1956), and later collaborated with directors like Rainer Werner Fassbinder in “The Marriage of Maria Braun” (1979). Over her extensive career spanning more than 100 film and television credits, Baal has been honored with awards including the German Film Award for her contributions to the industry.
