Karin Dor

Karin Dor (1938–2017, Germany/Switzerland) was a German actress who appeared in over 90 films and television shows during a career spanning five decades. She achieved international recognition for her role as the SPECTRE assassin Helga Brandt in the James Bond film *You Only Live Twice* (1967) and as Juanita de Córdoba in Alfred Hitchcock’s *Topaz* (1969). Dor was a prominent figure in post-war German cinema, often portraying strong female characters in thrillers, dramas, and genre films.
