Laura Betti

Laura Betti (1927–2004, Italy) was an Italian actress, singer, and writer best known for her collaborations with director Pier Paolo Pasolini. She appeared in several of his films, including Teorema (1968), Pigsty (1969), and Medea (1969), often in intense, unconventional roles that highlighted her versatile and expressive talent. Betti also worked in theater, television, and international cinema, earning acclaim such as the Volpi Cup for Best Actress at the 1972 Venice Film Festival for her performance in Storie scellerate.
