Madeleine Robinson

Madeleine Robinson (1917–2004, France) was a French actress known for her work in over 100 films spanning from the 1930s to the late 1990s. She gained prominence early in her career with roles in films such as “L’Étrange Monsieur Victor” (1936) and “La Bête humaine” (1938), earning the Prix Suzanne Bianchetti for best young actress in 1936. Robinson’s versatile performances in both dramatic and comedic roles made her a staple of French cinema during the interwar period and postwar era.
