Massimo Serato

Massimo Serato (1908–1989, Italy) was an Italian stage and film actor who began his career in theater in the 1920s before transitioning to cinema in the 1930s. He appeared in over 100 films, often in supporting roles in historical dramas and international co-productions, including notable performances in Luchino Visconti’s “The Leopard” (1963) as the Prince of Salina’s brother and in “Beatrice Cenci” (1969). Serato’s elegant screen presence made him a staple in Italian postwar cinema, collaborating with directors like Federico Fellini and Michelangelo Antonioni.
