Mila Parély

Mila Parély (1909–2012, France) was a French actress who appeared in over 30 films during the 1930s and 1940s. She gained prominence for her roles in Marcel Pagnol’s “The Baker’s Wife” (1938) and Jean Cocteau’s “Beauty and the Beast” (1946), often portraying elegant and enigmatic characters. After retiring from cinema in the 1950s, she made occasional stage appearances and lived quietly in Paris until her death.
