Monte Blue

Monte Blue (1887–1963, United States) was an American actor best known for his roles in silent films during the 1910s and 1920s. He appeared in over 200 films, including prominent parts in D.W. Griffith’s epics such as *The Birth of a Nation* (1915) and *Intolerance* (1916), often portraying strong, heroic figures. Transitioning to sound films, he continued working as a character actor into the 1950s, with notable appearances in Westerns and supporting roles for studios like Warner Bros.
