Noah Beery (1882–1946, United States) Noah Beery was an American character actor who appeared in over 200 films from the silent era through the 1940s, specializing in Westerns and adventure roles. Known for his imposing physique and versatile portrayals of villains, sheriffs, and comic figures, he gained prominence in films like *The Mark of Zorro* (1920) and *The Sea Hawk* (1924). As a key figure in early Hollywood, he was the father of actor Noah Beery Jr. and worked alongside stars such as Douglas Fairbanks and John Wayne.
