Odette Joyeux

Odette Joyeux (1914–2003, France) was a French actress, dancer, and screenwriter prominent in cinema and theater during the mid-20th century. She gained recognition for roles in films like *Hôtel du Nord* (1938) and *Le Corbeau* (1943), showcasing her versatility in dramatic and romantic genres amid the French poetic realism movement. Joyeux also contributed as a screenwriter and performer in stage productions, influencing post-war French arts before largely retiring from the spotlight in the 1950s.
