Oliver Tobias

Oliver Tobias (1945–Present, Switzerland) is a Swiss-born British actor renowned for his leading role as King Arthur in the ITV adventure series “Arthur of the Britons” (1972–1973). He gained further prominence through film roles such as Kai in the BBC adaptation of “Wuthering Heights” (1970) and Bassanio in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s “The Merchant of Venice” (1973), as well as appearances in films like “East of Elephant Rock” (1977) and “The Stud” (1978). With a career spanning stage, television, and international cinema, Tobias has performed in West End productions and continues to work in acting and directing.
