Özay Fecht
Özay Fecht (1953–Present, Turkey) Özay Fecht is a Turkish-German actress and singer known for her contributions to German cinema and theater. She gained prominence through roles in Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s films, including “The Marriage of Maria Braun” (1979) and “Lola” (1981), often portraying characters that highlight themes of migration and cultural displacement. Fecht has also appeared in numerous television series and films, such as “The Bridge” (1988), while maintaining a parallel career in music with albums fusing Turkish folk and Western styles.
