Paco de Lucia

Paco de Lucía (1947–2014, Spain/Mexico) was a Spanish flamenco guitarist, composer, and actor. Renowned for revolutionizing flamenco through his virtuoso playing and fusion with jazz and other genres, he won multiple Grammy Awards and influenced global music. In film, he appeared in Carlos Saura’s dance musicals such as *Sevillanas* (1992) and *Flamenco* (1995), and composed scores for movies including *The Hit* (1984).
