Paolo Carlini

Paolo Carlini (1915–1999, Italy) was an Italian stage and film actor active from the 1940s through the 1980s. He appeared in over 50 films, often in supporting roles, and is best known for his performance as the eccentric poet in Federico Fellini’s debut feature “The White Sheik” (1952). Carlini’s career spanned neorealist dramas, comedies, and international productions, including collaborations with directors like Mario Monicelli and Luigi Comencini.
