Rod Cameron

Rod Cameron (1910–1983, Canada/USA) was a Canadian-born American film and television actor. He rose to prominence in the 1940s starring in Westerns and action serials for Republic Pictures, including roles in films like *King of the Bullwhip* (1950) and *Panhandle* (1948). Cameron appeared in over 90 films and transitioned to television in the 1950s, notably as the lead in the series *City Detective* (1953–1955) and *State Trooper* (1956–1959).
