Rossano Brazzi

Rossano Brazzi (1916–1994, Italy) was an Italian actor who began his career in the 1930s with Italian cinema and later achieved international fame in Hollywood during the 1950s and 1960s. He is best known for his role as the plantation owner Emile de Becque in the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical South Pacific (1958), opposite Mitzi Gaynor, and for romantic leads in films such as Three Coins in the Fountain (1954) and Summertime (1955). Brazzi appeared in over 200 films and television productions, often portraying suave, charismatic characters, and continued working until the early 1990s.
