Sal Borgese (1937–Present, Italy) is an Italian character actor best known for his roles in spaghetti westerns and poliziotteschi films during the 1960s and 1970s. He appeared in over 100 films, including notable titles like “The Great Silence” (1968) directed by Sergio Corbucci and “Day of Anger” (1967) by Tonino Valerii, often portraying henchmen or tough antagonists. Borgese’s contributions helped define the gritty, low-budget Italian genre cinema of the era.
