Silvia Janisch

Silvia Janisch (1962–Present, Austria) is an Austrian actress known for her work in film, television, and theater. She gained international recognition for her role as the mother in Michael Haneke’s “The Piano Teacher” (2001), and has appeared in numerous Austrian productions including the TV series “Tatort” and films like “Import Export” (2007).
