Tino Rossi

Tino Rossi (1907–1983, France) was a French singer and actor of Corsican origin, renowned for his romantic ballads and extensive film career. He rose to fame in the 1930s with hits like “Petite Fille du Sud” and starred in over 25 films, including “L’Auberge du Petit Drac” (1935) and “Si j’étais le seigneur du château” (1939), often portraying charming, musical leads. Rossi’s contributions to French popular culture earned him the nickname “the French Bing Crosby,” and he received the Légion d’honneur in 1982.
