André Hunebelle

André Hunebelle (1896–1985, France) was a French film director, screenwriter, and actor. He began his career in the 1930s and directed over 40 films, specializing in adventure, comedy, and historical dramas. Hunebelle is best known for helming the popular Fantômas trilogy (1964–1967) starring Jean Marais and Louis de Funès, as well as several other comedic vehicles for de Funès in the 1950s and 1960s.
