Benito Alazraki

Benito Alazraki (1922–2007, Mexico) was a Mexican film director and cinematographer active during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. He debuted with the film *Crepúsculos de la ciudad* (1945) and went on to direct notable works such as *Raíces* (1954) and *Los discípulos del miedo* (1957), often exploring social themes. His contributions helped shape post-war Mexican filmmaking, blending documentary elements with narrative storytelling.
