Clive Donner

Clive Donner (1926–2011, United Kingdom) was a British film director and editor. He gained prominence in the 1960s for directing films such as *The Caretaker* (1963), an adaptation of Harold Pinter’s play, and *What’s New Pussycat?* (1965), a Woody Allen-scripted comedy. Later in his career, he transitioned to television, helming episodes of series like *The Six Wives of Henry VIII* (1970) and *The Naked Civil Servant* (1975).
