Denis Sanders

Denis Sanders (1928–1987, United States) was an American film director, producer, and writer. He gained recognition for directing the 1962 war drama *War Hunt*, which marked the film debut of actors Robert Redford and Sydney Pollack, and for winning the Academy Award for Best Short Subject Documentary for *Czechoslovakia 1968* in 1969. Sanders’ career spanned feature films, documentaries, and television work, often exploring themes of conflict and social issues.
